Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry is composed of energetic believers who are passionate about reaching "Generation Next" for Jesus Christ.

MISSION STATEMENT: Reaching the Lost and Teaching the Saved to Serve (Calvary Mission).

The Youth Ministry consists of teachers, chaperones, and those who work events and classes for the youth of Calvary Baptist Church.
Connections Ministry
Ministry Leader- First lady Charlene Mosley
The Connections Ministry is a Christian based ministry composed of energetic believers who enjoy building relationships by connecting with visitors and existing members.

The Connections Ministry consists of greeters, new member orientation teachers, and those who coordinate ministry mixers.
Music Ministry
Minister of Music- Travanti Hill
Mission Statement: The mission of the Calvary Baptist Church Music Ministry is to ultimately minister to the hearts of all mankind through the gift of music with excellence in effort to build the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Key Verse: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16
Choirs within music ministry: Sanctuary Choir (ages 13 and up) and Children’s Choir ages 5-12.

P.A.C.E.SETTERS Ministry
Ministry Leader- Connie Thornton
P.A.C.E.SETTERS stands for Patient, Anointed, Confident, Exemplary Women Setting Standards for God’s people.
What are P.A.C.E.SETTERS? We are a Christian based women’s ministry.

Mission Statement: P.A.C.E.SETTERS are virtuous women that are reaching the lost and teaching the saved to serve by providing spiritual support through prayer, education, community outreach, and creative resources.
​
Key Verse: "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come." Proverbs 31:25

Consists of Women ages 18-up.
Layman's Ministry
Ministry Leader - Bro. Gregory Croom
Mission Statement: The Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Laymen’s Ministry serves to undertake any necessary action that is needed to further the mission of the Church, strengthen the brotherhood,and maintain our position as positive role-models in the church and community.

The Calvary Baptist Church Laymen’s Ministry of made up of working, cooperative, devoted, prayerful and community-minded men who are committed to building up the Kingdom of God by first seeking to build up the ones that God has ordained to be the leaders in the church and home--the men.
Media Ministry
Ministry Leader: Sis. Myra Harris

Mission Statement: The Calvary Baptist Church Media Ministry will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through photography, social media and recording of church events. We further endeavor to provide media services and support to the church's ministries, invest in the vision of the Pastor, and assist in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Key Verse: "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!" Isaiah 52:7

The Calvary Baptist Church media ministry team runs the sound board for the music ministry and all speakers, including the pastor. We also sets up all of the necessary equipment for PowerPoint presentations and ensures that it will run smoothly. Furthermore we, tape and distribute audio or video recordings of the sermon and update the church website.
Usher/Greeter Ministry

Mission Statement: To joyfully, lovingly, and spiritually extend heartfelt greeting to all that enter the doors of Calvary Baptist Church in order to help set the atmosphere for worship.
Key Verse: “ For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10
Calvary Baptist Church ushers and greeters welcome church visitors with a smiling face at every service as they arrive. We also distribute literature on the church to visitors as they arrive and assist with parking for individuals who need to be dropped off at the door or may have additional mobility issues. We also arrive at least fifteen minutes before every service and remains after to help clean the sanctuary.
